Akira Live Action Poster
One of my friends is creating a live action fan trailer of the renowned manga-turned-anime “Akira”. The poster is above.

This poster had a professional team involved and then to achieve the right look. The Kaneda cosplayer had to be shot in such a way where we wanted the community to recognize the iconic image.

The director of this project felt like we (as fans) ought to take a shot at making our own adaptation. A chance to stick as close to the source material as possible. A chance to do Akira Justice.

Right now they are in pre-production. As you can see the poster attached is the first glimpse of the live action poster which we designed, faithfully recreating the poster from the 1988 anime.

I hope you enjoy the poster that was created!! Feel free to leave feedback.

From what i was told last week they are doing a casting call right now for actors for this live action fan trailer. Feel free to pass the word around.

The details..... The details are just simply amazing!! I love the way it portrays the original anime movie! This would make a great movie! I dunno how the about the mutation scene would work, but it would still be absuloutly amazing!! I would watch this alot and heck even have my friends watch it if it was a live action movie. I would hope they would keep the oiginal music because the soundtrack just out me in awe! So yes, this would make an amazing movie and I hope someone doesn't mess it up like they did dragon ball evolution. But I'm sure this would get a great profit! Great Job to whoever made this!
